Wicomico County Partnership for Families and Children accepting clothing donations

MARYLAND. – The Wicomico County Partnership for Families and Children is doing its part to ensure those in need have access to clothes essential for job interviews.

Officials are collecting business professional attire from September 1st through the 27th,
in an effort to help individuals undergoing opioid recovery, secure employment.

Director Timothy Bozman says the mission is to ease the burden of finding interview outfits for those trying to get back on their feet.

“It’s geared toward people in recovery or people coming out of recovery that are looking for employment,” Bozman said. “They may not necessarily have appropriate clothes for an interview because it’s an expense, so we’re hoping to provide as much clothes as we can for this population.”

Donations are being accepted at the Civic Center, or you can bring your clothes to 100 North Division Street.
